Since the dawn of time mankind has had the upper hand
No matter if by our own course or what destiny planned.
Equal in mental nature and social status alone
The Egalitarianistic ideals have always been shown.
As time went on and the people grew in their greedy way
A criminalistic night replaced the bright Egalitarianistic day.
As a whole we went through so many alternative ideals
Whether through our own lives or our political bills.
Egalitarianism is not only our destiny but our only resort.
For in the end we are all equal no matter the report.
The sun shines down upon us as the rays shine through,
The rain dripping down and covering our land with dew.
Each of us affected the same by a natural disaster
No matter how much money or how much land we did conquer.
Whether skin of white, black, or orient we all stand strong
And together we must learn to get along.
Seeing the struggle in ones life and struggle for all man kind
For no longer shall we roam this land blind.
The original truth in reality shall shine brightly across the land
As Egalitarianism wipes away the feelings of hatred and damned.
No longer shall the weak and fragile be kicked to the ground
Nor shall the strongest or richest stand above in mighty sound.
No matter the man made riches found in ones materialistic pocket
They stand just as equal as the man beside them who in poverty they sit.
Whether female or male they are equal in all ways of time,
No matter how weak or strong nor matter how much they chime.
Egalitarianism shall shine through for it is the only way to exist
For in this land we are all affected by the sun and mist.
No being shall be held higher than another for triumph stands in equality.
In order for any human from these binds to be set free,
All humans must rise above and recognize the truth before them.
No longer shall the intellect be hidden from those recognized as dim.
Hail to the equal ideal that quenches the needs of the serene mind
For if you open your heart the Egalitarianistic way you shall surely find.

For those of you who do not know what Egalitarianism is I shall explain before the poem. Egalitarianism is a belief that favors the idea of radical equality. The Egalitarian doctrines tend to state that all humans are equal in worth and social status. Egalitarians believe that equality is the natural state of humanity but over time that natural state has been skewed due to economical and social influences. The upper strata of humanity (money wise or intelligence wise) seems to have better benefits in life than those of lower 'class'. Egalitarianism within politics can be divided into two main forms. One form is equality of a persons rights (or Natural Rights as John Locke would of said). Another form is a distributive egalitarianism. This means that goods are redistributed in equal manner. Karl Marx is considered an influential person in this form of egalitarianism. Within the egalitarian philosophies there are numerous political groups including socialism, communism, anarchism, left-libertarianism, and progressivism. All of these groups tend to promote economic, political, and legal egalitarianism. Some people say that it is equal opportunity to satisfy them that constitutes true equality but this does not mean everyone must be the same. Others argue that egalitarianism 'dumbs down' society due to the fact that everyone must be equal. Talent and ability make you in-equal in the eyes of society. They claim that egalitarianism demands the punishment and/or envy of anyone that is better than someone else in any way, shape, or form.
